Luke founded Davies Design & Construction with a singular vision — to build homes that genuinely improve people's lives. Growing up in Tasmania's rugged landscape, he developed a deep respect for the relationship between a building and its environment.
After completing his carpentry apprenticeship and gaining years of hands-on experience, Luke recognised a gap in the market for a builder who could combine architectural sensitivity with construction excellence. He wanted to create homes that weren't just well-built, but thoughtfully designed to enhance the wellbeing of the people who live in them.
Under Luke's leadership, Davies has grown from a small crew into an award-winning team that has delivered some of Tasmania's most remarkable residential projects. His approach centres on the Six Elements framework — Purpose, Landscape, Function, Construction, Details, and Experience — ensuring every home is considered holistically.
Luke is deeply involved in every project, from the initial welcome call through to handover. He believes that building a dream home should be a collaborative, enjoyable journey — not a stressful one. That philosophy has earned Davies multiple Master Builders awards, including Residential Builder of the Year.
